GLBT Cultural Center

Gulf Coast Archive & Museum of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender History
The Gulf Coast Archive and Museum of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender History is a 501-c-3 organization formed in Houston by a group of concerned activists so that collective histories could be saved - as well as be available for educational uses - through the utilization of a museum or similar venue.

Houston GLBT Community Center
Since 1996, the Houston GLBT Community Center has served the metro area gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender population by providing programs in the areas of arts and culture, organizational collaboration, education and public policy, information resources and support groups/leadership development. From weekly coming out and HIV-positive support groups to a monthly bingo fundraiser, the center is a positive force for the local community.

Krewe of Olympus
One of the largest predominately gay Mardi Gras Krewes in the United States. Membership is open to all. Legacy Community Health Center
Legacy Community Health is a full-service health care facility providing comprehensive, primary care services to all Houstonians in a culturally sensitive, judgment-free and confidential environment. Legacy has specialized in HIV/AIDS testing, education, treatment and social services since the early 1980s. The center also provide care for other chronic health conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure. Each year Legacy serves more than 20,000 men, women and children.

FrontRunners Houston
FrontRunners is an informal group of gay and lesbians bound together by their love for running. Participants meet up twice a week for a three-mile group run at Memorial Park. There are also weekly dinners, regular social events and group participation in local and out-of-town races.
