Whim Houston

In fall 2016, Houston’s design district made room for Whim, a contemporary women’s boutique specializing in emerging and distinctive clothing brands. The curated shop, created by retail veteran Cindy Reich, lines its racks with a well-edited assortment of looks by Jenni Kayne, Grey by Jason Wu, Warm by Tracy Feith and Massob, among others.

Inside, crisp white walls and polished concrete floors set a gallery-like scene where billowy tops and breezy dresses share space with capsule jackets and timeless white tops. While there are plenty of feminine floral prints, Whim definitely embraces its edgier side with its mix of black structured skirts and statement-tunics.

Whim is open Monday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
