Seven years after the founding of the first Tasting Room, the family-run wine cafe/retail shop concept has expanded with a third location in west Houston’s CityCentre development. The 7,000-square-foot corner space—in addition to a 6,500-square-foot patio—is impressive both in size and in menu. Inside, 25-foot ceilings, an open kitchen, full-service charcuterie bar and wood-burning brick pizza oven add to the restaurant’s allure.
The Memorial location also ups the ante with an Enoteca wine system that allows customers to swipe pre-paid cards and sample different wines from a temperature-controlled environment. Customers can choose from three serving sizes—1-ounce, 3-ounce and 4-ounce—with the option to purchase a bottle or a case through the Tasting Room’s retail program.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner daily, as well as late night Thursday through Saturday.
