Denver-based breakfast joint, Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, opened in the Heights and locals can’t get enough of the company’s creative spin on breakfast tacos, sandwiches and pancakes.
The spot offers a bold, high-energy space at the corner of Yale and Shepherd streets, where the retro interior pops in hues of orange, citron and red. There, patrons sip on complimentary coffee and scan the menu, while they patiently wait their turn for a table. Feeling indecisive about what to order? Go for the Benny Duo—a half order of any two of Snooze’s benedict offerings or try a pancake flight with flavors like peach pie, blueberry Danish and sweet potato. The restaurant’s cocktail line-up is solid, too, especially the Bloody Mary with house-made mix and jalapeno-infused vodka.
Snooze is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
