She Works Flexible brings a new contemporary art gallery to Montrose’s Lower Westheimer district.
Housed in the former Domy Books space adjacent to Café Brasil, She Works Flexible is dedicated to showing work from artists based or connected to Texas and the Gulf Coast region in dialogue with national and international artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers and chefs.
In addition to the commercial gallery space, FLEX space can be found adjacent to the gallery on Dunlavy. This space will serve as a site for pop-up shows featuring emerging artists and practices not typically found within the confines of a commercial gallery. FLEX space is the new home for the Queer curatorial collective Barbee Manshun who will be in residence creating tri-weekly, one-of-a-kind evening events.
