Oxheart’s Chef Justin Yu and the restaurant’s former sommelier Justin Vann have collaborated on a new nightlife concept, Public Services Wine & Whisky. Located in Downtown’s old 1884 Cotton Exchange building, the spot promises patrons (first and foremost) a global selection of whisky, as well as wine, an edited cocktail line up and light bites.
Inside, the space reflects the work of designer Gin Braverman, who left the historic building’s details intact. Sky-high ceilings and gold-trim detailing complement the wood floors and eclectic upholstered seating. On the menu, which will continue to evolve, is an abbreviated mix of sharable snacks.
Public Services is open Monday through Saturday, 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.
