James Beard award-winning Chef Bradley Ogden—the talent behind Bradley’s Fine Diner and Funky Chicken—has expanded his Houston reach with Pour Society, a Memorial-area gastropub featuring reimagined Southern favorites. Located in the Gateway Memorial City development, the restaurant brings together a mix of Southern, Asian and Mexican favorites, as well as craft beers and cocktails.
Inside, rustic accents and urban touches collide in a warmly-inviting space that’s certain to be popular with nearby residents and the professional set. Shiplap walls and a rope-wall installation blend with steel accents and a 40-foot, granite-topped bar. On the menu, comfort food classics get a grown up spin in everything from ham hock mac & cheese to the pour’k burger with Black Hill Farms beef, topped with house-made bacon pimento cheese. Brew lovers will appreciate the 48 craft options on tap, while oenophiles can dig into the extensive wine list.
Pour Society is open for lunch and dinner, daily, along with Sunday brunch. Stop in for happy hour Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
