While basketball, baseball and football may often steal the spotlight, a large number of Houstonians share a passion for the world’s most popular sport. For these fans, often relegated to second-class status in most sports bars, the time has come to proudly let their fútbol flags fly. Pitch 25 is a brand new, soccer-themed bar, grill and epic neighborhood hangout for followers of the beautiful game.
Located in EaDo, practically in the shadow of BBVA Compass Stadium, Pitch 25 is the brainchild of former Houston Dynamos superstar, Brian Ching. With over 45 screens, multiple bars, patio games, hammocks and even a miniature indoor soccer field (or pitch), there really is nowhere else like it.
The hallmark of any good sports bar starts with a strong selection of drinks and Pitch 25 definitely doesn’t disappoint. With a large selection of draft beer, ciders and even wine on tap, you’re sure to find the perfect refreshment while enjoying the match. To keep you satisfied, even during those double overtime nail biters, sink your teeth into one of several amazing burgers, spicy wings, and a side of fully loaded fries. After all, who doesn’t love a good hat trick?
Pitch 25 is located at 2120 Walker. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. - 2 a.m., Friday from 3 p.m. - 12 a.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. - 2 a.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. - 2 a.m.
