Houston’s Lazybrook and Timbergrove area made room in 2017 for a casually-cool, fresh catch joint with the opening of Pinch Seafood & Bar. There, Executive Chef Clinton Page offers up a Southern-inspired menu promising sandwiches, soups, salads and creative fish dishes centered around seasonal seafood that is delivered to the restaurant daily.
Inside, expect a sports bar scene with flat-screen TVs throughout and ample seating in the form of booths, bar seating and high-top tables. As far as the cuisine, start off your visit with an oyster app, deviled eggs or seafood gumbo, before digging into Gulf shrimp scampi or an oyster po-boy. Feeling ravenous? Add a side like truffle parmesan fries, Applewood smoked bacon and jalapeno mac or cheesy southern-style grits.
