Nearly five years in the making, Paul Stephens and his business partners opened the doors to Paul Revere Rum Distillery in 2017. Set in EaDo, the venture is one of the first of its kind in Houston, unfolding in a 2,500 square foot space just a stone’s throw from 8th Wonder Brewery.
At Paul Revere Rum, guests have a chance to enjoy the company’s clear rum in a range of specialty cocktails, a focus the team hopes will help break the stereotype that rum is a drink that’s best reserved for vacations. Fans will be able to buy drinks to enjoy on-site or they can purchase a bottle to enjoy off-premise. (The distillery will offer two commemorative bottles every 30 days.) As far as the in-house experience goes, guests will find board games, complimentary chips and salsa and a menu with drinks like the Hurricane, Dark and Stormy and Pain Killer on offer.
Paul Revere Rum is open Thursday and Friday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, noon to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 8 p.m.
