There are many places to go biking around Houston, and wandering the miles or beautiful bike paths is a perfect Houston past time. But when your legs grow tired, might we recommend parking your bike and wandering the Houston Bicycle Museum where you'll gain a greater appreciation for the two-wheeled machine.
Located within the Museum District, this spot offers collections of antique and classic bicycles, along with cycling-related memorabilia. The museum covers the spectrum of cycling beginning at its infancy in the mid 1850's and chronicling its evolution through to the most sophisticated of today.
The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is $9 for adults, and children 10 years and younger are free. Etry is free for everyone on Thursdays from 3-6 pm.
