The Adair Restaurant Group—the brains behind Adair Kitchen and Skeeters Mesquite Grill—expanded its reach in summer 2016 with a new River Oaks concept called Eloise Nichols Grill and Liquors.
Named after the Adair children’s grandmother, Eloise Nichols Adair, the restaurant specializes in Texas and Gulf Coast kitchen classics, all served in an unrushed environment that encourages guests to linger over a memorable meal. Choose from savory, southern comfort food like Texas shrimp and chorizo-tinged grits, chicken and dumplings and fried green tomatoes. The cocktail menu offers tempting classics like bloody marys, mimosas and gimlets. Save room for dessert, the mini apple pie and Texas chocolate sheet cake are both solid.
Eloise Nichols Grill & Liquors is open for lunch and dinner, daily, along with weekend brunch. Reservations are accepted.
