East Downtown made room for a new Tex-Mex and barbecue concept in summer 2015 with the opening of EaDo’s. Set in the space that was most recently home to Mojeaux’s Lousiana Drinkery, the casual, yet refined outpost offers a low-key escape for post-work drinks and bites.
Drawing inspiration from the surrounding community, EaDo’s serves scratch-made margaritas and cocktails, as well as a simple menu featuring street tacos, small bites, dips and quesos that brings its Texas BBQ Pitmaster’s imaginative take on traditional Tex-Mex to life. Guests can expect 100 percent freshly-squeezed juices in many of the restaurant’s mixed drinks and marinades, while still offering the selections of a traditional full bar. Don’t miss happy hour, offered daily until 6 p.m., and all day and night on Sunday.
EaDo’s is open Monday through Wednesday, 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.; and Thursday through Sunday, 2 p.m. to 2 a.m.
