When Chef Peter Petro looked for a place outside California to open a second location of his Bosscat Kitchen and Libations, Houston was a natural choice. Here, he offers a menu that combines good ol’ American comfort food with contemporary flavors and cooking techniques.
Each season, new flavors and recipes are brought into the kitchen. All cooks on staff are encouraged to brainstorm (and eat) with the chef. This collaborative process is the foundation of Bosscat's culinary art. Encouraging and fostering new ideas with seasonal produce, meats and spices makes for a fun and fresh menu.
Inside the 6,900-square-foot space, diners will find an industrial décor with polished concrete floors and reclaimed wood, steel and brick fixtures. The glass-enclosed Whiskey Rooms highlights one of the city’s largest selections from Texas distilleries and other producers from around the world.
Bosscat Kitchen & Libations is open for lunch and dinner, Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m on Sunday.
