Diners can take their taste buds on a food journey with Chef, now restaurant owner Aaron Bludorn. His namesake, Bludorn Restaurant is the Netflix Final Table stars’ first solo venture, and it’s located in Houston’s historic Fourth Ward neighborhood.

The new American, French-inspired menu that celebrates Texas includes unique mouthwatering combinations like: Gulf cioppino, a seafood stew with red snapper, crab, shrimp in a spicy tomato broth; ora salmon with zucchini, salsa verde dressed in a 5-seed crust; shortrib ravioli with fig, red onion and blue cheese; lamb with apricot, couscous, yogurt and mint; chicken with peas, crawfish, and ham in a sauce supreme; and quail wrapped in bacon, finished with rosemary, and blackberry. For seafood lovers, a raw bar is stocked with everything from oysters made every way, to Maine lobster.

Fine dining in a casual, relaxed atmosphere, Bludorn doesn’t disappoint with elegant chef-created desserts like Peach Cobbler with speculoos and greek yogurt sorbet, Beignets with lemon curd, Baked Alaska, a Chocolate Molten Cake, and Hazelnut Marjolaine with Nutella ice cream. Complimenting the food is a wine selection from around the world, craft beer and classic-inspired cocktails.

A Seattle native, Bludorn was trained in Napa and New York, but his Texas influence is strong. He’s married to Victoria Pappas, daughter of the owner of the popular Pappas chain.
