Perhaps the biggest celebration happening in the city, Freedom Over Texas is fun for the whole family. This year, the event has partnered with NASA’s Johnson Space Center to pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing with astronaut meet-and-greets, robotic demos, virtual reality experiences and much more. Country stars Jake Owen and Kellie Pickler will provide the musical entertainment all culminating in a breathtaking fireworks finale.
