If you haven’t, don’t worry, we did the work for you. Here's a list of what we think are some of the best concerts coming up next year so you can decide which artists to spend that holiday money on and put in for those days off to recover!
Katy Perry - Jan. 7

The Bon Appetit superstar is the first major artist to visit H-Town in 2018. And if Katy Perry isn’t your cup of tea, underrated pop icon Carly Rae Jepsen will be guest starring and opening for the California girl. Although, if you ask me, it should be the other way around. #AllTeaAllShade
Dua Lipa - Feb. 3
Revention Music Center
Dua Lipa’s song and video for New Rules was one of the pop culture highlights of 2017. You can’t go to a gym or workout class without hearing it. In February, she will be performing at House of Blues and you can dance along without having to break a sweat.
Lana Del Rey- Feb. 10
Toyota Center
The Queen of Coney Island’s melancholy voice and poetic songs are sure to be a hit when she visits around Valentine’s Day. Hopefully, she will give us one good twirl while onstage.
Lorde - March 19
Toyota Center
Lorde’s most recent album, Melodrama, topped most critics’ picks for the best albums of 2017. And if you are still angry that she had to cancel her Free Press performance due to weather, this is your chance to see her in a space that definitely can’t get rained out.
P!nk - April 28-29
Toyota Center
If it is one thing P!nk knows how to do, it is how to put on a show. P!nk will showcase her Beautiful Trauma album with Bleachers opening the show.
Shania Twain - June 9

Let’s go girls! The leopard-wearing country songstress is back to reignite those old country roots in each of us. We bet you won’t be leaving her show saying, “That don’t impress me much.”

Kesha and Macklemore - June 23

The two musical powerhouses are combing forces for their summer tour. Bonus: they are using their tour for a good cause: $1 from every ticket sold will be donated, with Kesha donating her proceeds to Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) and Macklemore donating his to PLUS 1, which advances racial and social justice through the M&RL Equity Fund. If that isn’t enough, you should by a ticket just to hear that falsetto note from Kesha’s Praying live.
Sam Smith - July 18

The out-and-proud singer will be performing hits from his newest album, The Thrill of It All.
Taylor Swift - Sept. 29

Love her or hate her, you can’t say you haven’t gotten one of her songs stuck in your head. With her new album, Taylor is trying to kill her squeaky-clean image and let’s hope her new tour reflects that.
