Jazzy Sundays at Discovery Green

Three Sundays in May and the first Sunday in June, you can enjoy jazz music at Discovery Green Park at the Jazzy Sundays in the Parks festival. This free concert series celebrates the legacy and evolution of jazz in Houston.
Local and regional musicians representing the best of jazz and its related forms, including gospel, blues, zydeco and more, will perform.
In recent decades, Houston has produced some of contemporary jazz's biggest stars, including Jason Moran, Robert Glasper, Eric Harland and Helen Sung. This concert series aims to raise awareness of the city's contributions to this art form, as well as bring Houstonians and visitors together to enjoy this cultural heritage.
