After six years serving signature sliders at 2703 Montrose, Little Bigs got a little too big for its 20-seat space, forcing the team to make the leap to a bigger property. In November 2014, the retro burger concept reopened in its new home, minutes away, at 4621 Montrose.
There, fans will find a simple menu of beef minis along with bites of fried chicken and breaded mushroom. The superstar at Little Bigs is Chef/Owner Bryan Caswell’s signature slider: a 3oz., juicy, hand-formed, all-beef patty (they grind the meat fresh on-site daily) topped with caramelized onions on a soft, fresh-baked yeast roll. Beyond the beef, Little Bigs offers an all-natural, boneless, skinless breaded chicken slider, a vegetarian slider (crimini mushrooms tangling with cheese, breaded and fried) and a pulled pork slider.
Unlike other burger joints, Little Bigs has wine at near-retail prices and beer. But you won’t want to miss any of their frozen treats: hand-spun Ice Cream Shakes and Frozen Joe™ (a creamy frozen concoction with Chocolate Praline-flavored Katz Coffee); and (for grown-ups only) The Dude™ (a "White Russian” milkshake) and The Big Pink™ (a Sangria Slushy that goes down easy).
