Dolce Neve

Fans of Austin’s Dolce Neve gelato shop were excited to see the family-owned biz open a location in Houston. Created by a gelato-loving husband-wife team, along with the wife’s brother, Dolce Neve highlights more than a dozen changing flavors of scratch-made gelato and sorbets.

Set along Main Street, in The Heights, the casual cool concept is always introducing new varieties (more than 300 to date), which are divided into three categories: staples (always available), rotating (available every couple of weeks) and seasonal (based on in-season fruits and holiday specials). Wondering what’s currently on offer? Follow the company on Instagram, where popular flavors like vanilla from Madagascar, matcha green tea and organic hazelnut draw rave reviews. As far as the restaurant goes, fans will find a cozy, light-filled space with room to dine indoors or at one of the bistro tables out front.

Dolce Neve is open Sunday through Thursday, noon to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, noon to midnight.
