Camerata at Paulie's

1834 Westheimer | Houston, TX 77098

Since opening in 2013 in Houston's Montrose neighborhood, Camerata at Paulie’s is one of Texas’ most respected and lauded wine bars. Camerata was named for the Florentine Camerata which served as a gathering place for great minds during the Renaissance. Owner Paul Petronella’s Italian heritage and family history in hospitality inspired Camerata, which has established itself as an unpretentious meeting place where wine enthusiasts and novices alike can enjoy the extensive and unique wine selection, fine charcuterie and artisanal cheeses.

Camerata strives to be a place of learning, be it wine, literature or history. The bartenders and sommeliers collectively share over 30 years of experience in the wine and hospitality industry, bringing together professionals from all over the country and supporting sustainable, family-run wineries. They know their product, and they're happy to recommend a glass or a bottle to satisfy your liking. For the adventurous souls, they're great at introducing new wines you might never have heard of or tasted. The bar is open daily from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.
